This series explores the transition of a forest burned in the Yellowstone fire. At a deeper level I see this as a metaphor for the transitions we all face. While we mourn loss there is also a beauty in that which is fading away, in that which, in it’s leaving, new growth is made possible. We can overlook that beauty, and miss out on great lessons, if in our urge to move forward we don’t pause to be in the moment with loss.
